Queensberry Properties is a partnership between Cruden Homes (East) Ltd, one of Scotland’s leading privately owned house builders and developers and Buccleuch Properties, one of the country’s most established land and property experts.
The Cruden Group has been building houses for over seventy years. During this time, it has built or modernised in excess of 130,000 properties in both the private and public sectors. Today, approximately 250 private homes are developed and marketed under the Cruden Homes brand each year. The company retains a workforce of more than 500 employees, which allows it to carefully control quality across its whole portfolio. The quality of the design and construction at Woodcroft is testament to Cruden’s enormous experience developing private residential developments in Edinburgh and elsewhere in Scotland.
With offices in Edinburgh and London, Buccleuch Property has a market exposure of circa £350m through a UK-wide investment portfolio, a range of development sites (with a pipeline in excess of 2 million sqft) and four strategic joint ventures, of which Queensberry is one. At Woodcroft, Buccleuch Property has drawn on its extensive experience working with its partner business Native Land developing prime properties in the centre of London. This expertise has ensured that Woodcroft really moves things forward in terms of what is available in the new build sector in Edinburgh.
